
On Sunday, the Delhi government allowed students in Class 10 to 12 to visit schools from Monday for admission work and board exams practical activities and also said medical examination camps located on school campuses could resume.
Through an order issued on Sunday evening, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) also allowed weekly markets to open across the city from Monday on the condition that vendors and visitors must follow appropriate Covid-19 behavior.
However, the DDMA specified that schools, training centers, and universities will be closed for teaching purposes.

“Students in Class 10 to Class 12 in the city can visit their schools starting August 9 (Mon) for admissions work, including counseling, orientation, and practical exam activities on the board.
The DDMA order reads: “Medical examinations and referral services in or from schools can resume. Children of all ages can visit these centers with their parents or guardians.”
He said the Department of Education will issue the appropriate guidelines regarding these permitted activities to ensure that COVID-19 protocols are followed and children are safe.
The order also read: “All weekly markets are allowed to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the government. No unauthorized weekly markets are allowed to operate.”
The order added that no weekly markets would be allowed on the road.
