Delhi University is one of the top universities of India, and several students compete to get a seat in DU for UG courses. There are various course options available in management, arts, commerce, science, humanities, law and engineering field at Delhi University. To get admission in specific courses, students have to appear for the entrance exam while some of the UG courses are based on merit selection.
It is not easy to get admission in Delhi University but it is not too difficult, and that’s why one should try to get admission into it. To get admission to the University, one needs to fill up the form after which they can appear for the entrance test, or they can wait for the merit result. Here are the essential details regarding the admission form submission of DU 2019.
UG Merit Based admission
The online registration will start on 30th May in the year 2019 and will continue till June 2019. The first cut off list is going to be released in the 4th week of June, and selected candidates need to submit and approve the documents in the same week. The second cut-off will be released in the first week of July. The classes of UG students will begin in the third week of July 2019.
Entrance based UG courses
The students who are interested in getting admission with entrance exam in DU can fill up the du admission form between 30th May to June 2019. The admit card will be realized in the last week of June, and the exam will be held in the first and second week of July. The result will be declared in the 3rd week of July and admissions will also begin in the same week. The students need to take admit card along with them during the exam; otherwise, they won’t be permitted to appear in the examination. It is necessary for all the students to work hard if they appear for the entrance exam because it is not an easy task. You need to work hard to clear the entrance exam of Delhi University with high grades to get admission.
Procedure to fill up DU admission form
The candidates can only fill up the form through the online platform only, and registration is required on the official website of DU before filling up the du admission form. When the registration details are submitted by the candidate, a confirmation mail is sent, and then one can log in to fill up the form 2019. The scanned images of signature, photo, ID proof, and other essential certificates need to be uploaded. It is crucial that the candidates get the print out of the form. The application fee can be paid through credit/debit card. For every entrance test, the separate application fee is charged for the candidates. There is no extra fee for merit-based courses. The application fee for UG entrance based application is Rs. 500/- while for merit-based UG courses, the students need to pay Rs. 150/-.
The process of filling du admission form 2019 is quite simple as the candidates need to fill up the application form with the correct details. After filling up the way, the necessary documents should be uploaded with it. The fee needs to submit online with net banking or debit card/credit card. The candidates will receive the email confirmation after the admission form has been registered.
Eligibility to fill the du admission form
The students who want to fill up du admission form 2019 don’t need to worry about the age limit as there are no such criteria regarding the age of students. Only some regulatory authorities like DCI, AICTE, BCI, and MCI will have their age criteria. The minimum marks are required for qualifying specific courses.
Documents required to be attached with the form While applying for du admission 2019, the candidates have to submit the necessary documents along with it. The candidates should self attest the copy of the documents. The self-attested copies are needed to be scanned, and then one can save it on the device. You can submit your passport size photo, scanned sign, self-attested 12th mark sheet, self-attested copy of ECA/sports certificates, ID proof which includes Driving license, Aadhar card, College ID card, PAN card, and passport.
