Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and other Job

Educational Qualification:

  • Assistant Professor in Neurology: (i)  A  recognized medical qualification included in the  First or the  Second Schedule or  Part  II  of the Third  Schedule  (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii)  Postgraduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty equivalent.  (iii)  At least one-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical  College/Teaching  Institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtainment qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Churriguera (M.Ch.).
  • Lecturer: (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).  (ii) Post-Graduate with Master of Dental Surgery in concerned specialty/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Junior Physician: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the Ist or IInd Schedule or Part 2 of the IIIrd Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification)  to the  Indian Medical  Council  Act,  1956  (102  of  1956). (ii) Post Graduation degree failing which post-graduate diploma, in the specialty concerned.
  • Tutor in the Institute of Nursing Education: (i) PG with Master Degree in Nursing from a recognized University and if a candidate with Master’s Degree in Nursing is not available, Bachelor of  Science in Nursing/Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized University, with three years of experience, out of which, one year should be teaching experience in School/College of Nursing. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Professor in the Institute of Nursing Education: i) PG with a Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized University. (ii) Ten years’ experience after Master’s Degree in Nursing, out of which, seven years should be teaching experience in the College of Nursing. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Planning Officer: i) Master’s Degree in Economics at a recognized University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry: (i) Graduate with Bachelors and PG with a Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. (ii) Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry of which 02 years post Ph.D. experience is desirable. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Assistant Professor in Konkani in Government College (APKGC): Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent.
  • Principal: (i) Graduation with Bachelor and PG with Master Degree in appropriate branch of Fine Art (Applied Art, Painting and Sculpture) or equivalent with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. (iii) Minimum of 10 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research, out of which, 03 years shall be at the level of Professor OR (iii) Minimum of 13 years experience in Teaching and/or Research and/or Industry.
  • Assistant Professor in Fine Art (Applied Art): (i) Graduate with Bachelor and PG with Master Degree in appropriate branch of Fine Art (Applied Art) or equivalent with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Technical Officer in Administrative Reforms Department (TOARD): (i) Degree of a recognized University or its equivalent. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
  • Civil Aviation Officer: (i) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. (ii) In-house training courses conducted by the authorized scheduled operators. (iii) Five years experience at supervisory level in the Civil Aviation Sector. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
