How to link Aadhaar to your EPFO ​​account using OTP verification on e-KYC portal?

1- Visit https://iwu.epfindia.gov.in/eKYC/

2- Click on “Link UAN Aadhaar” in the “For EPFO ​​Members” section.

3- Enter the UAN and the registered mobile phone number. Click Create OTP.

4- Enter the received OTP on your registered mobile number along with other details like gender and Aadhaar number.

5- Choose “Use mobile / email Based OTP”. You will now receive another OTP on your registered contact number.

6- Enter the captcha code as mentioned below.

7- Click “Submit”.

8- After successful verification, your UAN will be authenticated by Aadhaar.

How to link Aadhaar to EPFO ​​account using biometric credentials on e-KYC portal?

To link your account in this way, you must have a registered biometric device.

1- Visit https://iwu.epfindia.gov.in/eKYC/

2- Click on “Link UAN Aadhaar” in the “For EPFO ​​Members” section.

3- Enter the UAN and the registered mobile phone number. Click Create OTP.

4- Enter the received OTP on your registered mobile number along with other details like gender and Aadhaar number.

5- Select “Use Biometrics”.

6- Biometric data is captured through a registered device.

7- Click “Submit”.

8- After successful verification, your UAN will be authenticated by Aadhaar.

How to link Aadhaar to EPFO ​​account using UMANG app?

1- Open the UMANG app on your smartphone and log in with MPIN or OTP.

2- Click on “EPFO” in the “All Services” tab.

3- Click on “eKYC Services”.

4- Select the “Aadhaar Seeding” option.

5- Enter UAN and choose Get OTP.

6- Now you will receive an OTP on your registered contact number. Log in to the OTP and click “Login”.

7- Enter the credentials. Another OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email registered in Aadhaar.

8- After successful verification, your UAN will be authenticated by Aadhaar.

How to link Aadhaar to EPFO ​​account using EPF Gateway?

1- Visit https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/

2- Enter your UAN, password and Captcha code for login.

3- Click on “Manage” and select “Know Your Customer” from the drop-down list.

4- Select “AADHAAR” option and enter your Aadhaar data.

5- Click on the “Save” button.

Once saved, you will be able to see it in the ‘KYC Comment’. After successful approval from your employer, you will appear in ‘KYC Certified’.

How do you activate your UAN?

Follow the procedure mentioned below if your UAN is not activated.

1- Visit https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

2- Click on “Activate UAN” under “Important Links”.

3- Enter anyone’s UAN credentials, member ID, AADHAAR, PAN and other details like name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID (optional) and captcha code.

4- Click on the Get Authentication PIN tab.

5- You will receive an OTP on your contact number.

6- Enter the OTP and click on “Validate OTP and activate UAN”.

7- Once its activated, you will receive the password on your contact number. You can use this password to log into the portal.

If your UAN is activated, the portal will notify you.
