IGNOU 2021: Details on Admission, TEE Date sheet[tentative] released

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), established in 1985, and considered as a most prominent distance learning education in India. Indira Gandhi National Open University began offering two programs in 1987, with a student strength of about 4,500 students. Presently, the university serves more than three million students in India and abroad through its 21 schools and a network of 67 regional centers and 29 partner institutions abroad. IGNOU offers more than 200 programs at certificate, diploma, degree and doctoral levels. IGNOU admission courses are held twice a year in January and July. For the January session, online registration for most courses starts in November each year and registration starts in July in May and June.

IGNOU performs TEE twice a year. Due to its wider network of learning support systems, IGNOU was declared the largest higher education institution in the world in 2010 by UNESCO. As a global leader in distance education, it has been honored several times with Excellence Awards from the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Canada.

IGNOU Admission Dates 2021

The IGNOU admissions cycle is currently open for a July 2021 call. The complete calendar regarding IGNOU 2021 admission dates is as follows:

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for new admissions for its Online Distance Learning (ODL) and Undergraduate and Postgraduate online programs till October 31.

Students can visit the official website –ignouadmission.samarth.edu. To apply for the July session of IGNOU 2021.
IGNOU wrote by sharing the extended date on Twitter: “IGNOU is also extending the last date for new admissions for ODL and UG/PG programs online for July 2021 session until October 31, 2021. https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.”

To apply for the Online Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programs, students will need to register on the IGNOU admission portal from July 2021 using name, email ID, educational certificates and mobile phone number. IGNOU will notify all the news regarding the registered mobile number and email id.

IGNOU has completed the admission process for Certificates, Diplomas, PG Diploma and UG/PG Semester Programs.

IGNOU session July 2021: How to apply

• Go to the official websites: ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in

• On the main page, click on the news registration link

• The login page will reopen

• Enter the required details and set a password

• Click “Login”

• The IGNOU application form will shown on the screen

• Complete the application form

• Submit and pay the application fee via the selected payment methods

“The deadline for admission to the Semester Certificate, Diploma, and Diploma programs PG and UG/PG has ended. In a particular admissions course, the possibility of fee waiver available to SC/ST students for a single program can be claimed. If an applicant submits more than one application requesting a fee waiver, All applications will be rejected,” reads an official statement on the IGNOU website.

IGNOU Exams

Indira Gandhi National Open University has published TEE Preliminary History Paper for IGNOU in December 2021. Candidates who will take the end of semester examination in December can check the complete schedule via the official IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in.

According to the official schedule, the examination [IGNOU exam date] will start on January 20, 2022 and end on February 22, 2022. The portal for submitting the online test form for the final examination for the December 2021 period will open in due course.

Exam date/session clash will not be considered in the following cases: Courses are from the same group (Group 1 to Group 6) as examination of courses in a particular group takes place on the same date and time, for late courses, courses of different programmes, in MP programmes, Various specialization courses.

In case of any discrepancies, students are advised to report by email to dateheet@ignou.ac. No later than November 10, 2021. To download the provisional date sheet, candidates can follow these simple steps given below.
