JoSAA Consultation 2021: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will announce the result of first round seat allocation for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and other institutes today, October 27. To-do list will be posted on josaa.nic.in. According to the counseling programme, selected candidates can apply online for admission until October 30.
During this period, they will have to pay the consultation fee and upload the required documents.
The second round task list will be released on November 1. Previously, the JoSAA had published two dummy task lists.
Candidates must make a hard copy of the final restricted options, as this document will be required during reporting.
Students who wish to withdraw their places can do so from round two to round five.
Once the JoSAA advisory process is complete, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct two rounds of consultations to fill vacancies under the NIT+ system. Visit csab.nic.in for more details.
JoSAA admission counseling is conducted for IIT, NIT, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and some Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI).
Eligible candidates applying from JEE can be admitted to all institutes, but eligible candidates from JEE Main can apply for admission to other institutes other than IITs.
