KCET Full Form
Karnataka Common Entrance Test [KCET], is regulated by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is conducted for admission to professional courses such as Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma of Pharmacy (DPharma), Agricultural Courses (Agricultural Science), and Veterinary Courses. Candidates who wish to undertake courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Unani or Homeopathy must qualify for National Eligibility Examination and Entrance Examination (NEET), while candidates who want architecture course through KCET 2021 must be eligible for JEE 2 main paper or Nata to participate in KCET counselling.

KCET Counselling
The dates for KCET 2021 seat assignment and seating matrix have been published by the Karnataka Testing Authority (KEA). Candidates who have done KCET 2021 option entry can check the mock assignment result on November 18th. Then, the KCET 2021 first round assignment result will be published on November 23. Candidates can exercise their options from November 23-25. After the options are exercised, the payment fee can be paid and the acceptance order downloaded from November 24 to 27.
KEA has arranged counseling for eligible candidates for KCET 2021. The KCET 2021 counseling procedure includes various stages such as uploading documents, issuing the provisional list, and entering options. Candidates must first upload the required documents through the document upload window. Thereafter, KEA will publish the KCET 2021 provisional list of shortlisted candidates. Candidates who will participate in the counseling will be eligible for allotment of seats.
– In the first step of the consultation, the candidates will have to go to the counseling center and check the documents.
– After document verification, candidates will have the opportunity to complete their college and course preferences.
– KEA will exercise the seat assignment process considering the pool of candidates selected, seat availability, course and college preferences, etc.
