A prominent university is what adds value to a student and shapes is future in a way that he develops to become a responsible citizen of the country apart from gaining immense knowledge and securing a bright future. Here is a list of Top Central Universities in India as for2019. This list of universities is approved by UGC. 

A central university also called as a Union University is a university formed by an act of Parliament. Also, there is a particular act in the form of the Central Universities Act 2009 that standardizes and governs these universities. These universities fall under the regulation of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Human Resources and Development of the Indian Government. Central universities are allowed to grant their own degrees, however, they are constrained from granting any affiliation to the colleges. As per the University Grants Commission’s latest publicized list, there are forty-six deemed central universities in India providing MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programs.
