
University of Mumbai UG Admission 2021: Today, the University of Mumbai will publish the first merit list for the 2021-22 session for undergraduate admission. Those who have applied for admission to UG courses at MU affiliated universities can download the merit list from the mu.ac.in website and check their admission status. The first list of merits for admission to MU UG will be published for BA, BAF, BCom, BSc, BFM, BMM and other courses offered by the university.
The Maharashtra government has been considering taking a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to non-professional courses this year. However, after the results of HSC or Class 12, the Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Uday Samant, said that there will be no CET for the next academic year. The CET for admission to FYJC or Class 11 has also been abolished by the Bombay High Court.

Shortlisted candidates in MU’s first round of admissions will be required to complete online document verification and online fee payment along with Declaration or Commitment Form between August 18 and 25 (3pm).
There will be two more lists. The second list of merits will be published on August 25, 2021 at 7 p.m. The third list of merits will be published on August 30.

Online document verification and fee payment for the second list of merits will take place August 26-30 (until 3pm) and online document verification rounds for the third list will take place at from 1 to 4 September. The University Grant Committee (UGC) has directed all Higher Education Institutions (HEI) to complete the UG admission process for 2021-22 by the end of September and start studying for them from October.
