NEET 2021: The Ministry of Education announced on Thursday the establishment of an examination center in Dubai for the NEET 2021 Medical Admission Test scheduled for September 12. This is the first time the NEET exam has been taken in Dubai. The Ministry of Education had previously established a test center in Kuwait for the community of Indian students residing in the country, which is also the first test center.
The Embassy of India in the UAE has stated that the UAE has been selected as the NEET center outside of India for the first time, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Education.

The NEET-UG application process began on July 13. The number of test centers for NEET 2021 has been increased from 155 to 198 to follow Covid-related health protocols and ensure the safety of candidates.
Initially, the NEET 2021 test was scheduled for August 1, 2021, but was later postponed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to an increase in Covid cases. The NTA also caused some changes in the pattern of the medical entrance examination with an internal selection of questions.
To enroll in NEET-UG 2021, aspiring physicians must complete the age of 17 at the time of admission or have completed this age by December 31 of the year of their admission to the first year of UG medical courses or before. The maximum age for NEET (UG) is 25 years on the date of the exam with a 5-year relaxation for candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC-NCL category and PwD candidates. Applications to enroll in NEET 2021 are not closed.
