NTSE Chandigarh 2021-22 – SCERT Chandigarh has published the application form for NTSE Exam Phase 1. NTSE Chandigarh 2021-22 application form is available on the official website www.scertchd.edu.in. Students may download the application form and submit it offline to SCERT no later than November 10, 2021.

Students who appear in Class 10 exams are eligible to appear in NTSE 2022 Examination. Phase 1 testing will take place on January 16, 2022. Chandigarh NTSE 2021-22 – Important dates

NTSE Chandigarh Application Form 2021-22

SCERT Chandigarh has published the application form for the first stage examination in both online and offline mode. But the forms are sent in offline mode to the SCERT manager. Candidates can follow these steps to complete the NTSE 2022 application form:

• Download the form from the link mentioned above or have it signed by the school principal.

• Fill in all the details correctly and accurately.

• Paste recent passport-sized photos of the candidates.

• The required documents are attached, such as the caste certificate of the candidate who belongs to the Scheduled Caste / OBC category and the medical certificate for the candidate who have some physical disabilities.

• Submit this application form to the Director of SCERT before the last date i.e. 10 November 2021.

Eligibility Criteria NTSE Chandigarh 2021-22

• Candidates who have passed the ninth semester and appear in the tenth semester are eligible to apply for the NTSE 2022 examination.

• Candidates must have achieved a grade of B2 or above or 61% in the Class 9 examination to meet the NTSE eligibility criteria.

• SCERT Chandigarh provides a relaxation score of 5% for students belonging to the SC and PH categories.

• Students registered in the open distance learning can apply for this exam. Candidates must be under the age of 18, must not be employed and appear for the NTSE exam for the first time.

NTSE Chandigarh Admission Card 2021-22

• A separate NTSE 2022 Admission Card will be issued for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 examinations.

• Admission cards for NTSE stage 1 examination will be published on December 15, 2021.

• Students must receive the admission card from the State Council for Educational Research and

• Training (SCERT), Sector 32 C, UT Chandigarh by a representative of the principal of the concerned school.

• This admission card is mandatory to continue on the day of the exam. Otherwise, the candidates will not be able to pass the Chandigarh NTSE 2022 Examination.

How to Prepare for Chandigarh NTSE 2022 Exam?

• First, analyze the NTSE syllabus to learn about the topics and subtopics that will be studied for the exam.

• Follow the NTSE exam pattern and develop a study strategy and schedule to pass the NTSE Chandigarh 2022 Exam.

• Read the NCERT books to understand the concepts and then go to other reference books to learn more.

• Candidates can download the NTSE Answer Key and use it to calculate the possible scores.

• Answer key is useful for calculating the graded score before posting the score.

NTSE Chandigarh 2022 Result

SCERT, Chandigarh will publish NTSE Stage 1 Exam Result in online mode in April 2022. The result will be available as a list of benefits. NTSE Result contains the details of the shortlisted candidates for the Stage 2 examination. Final shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the scholarship after the announcement of the NTSE Stage 2 result.

NTSE Chandigarh Cutoff 2022

• SCERT Chandigarh will announce the Phase 1 cut-off along with the score.

• Candidates with the cut off marks will be eligible to move to the next stage and will be able to find their name in the list of benefits.

• NTSE cut-off marks are the minimum scores needed to qualify to pass the exam.

NTSE Scholarship

The NCERT provides the amount of the scholarship to candidates who pass the Phase 2 examination. The scholarship is awarded up to PhD level as per the NCERT criteria. Candidates in all categories will receive the same scholarship amount. NTSE award amounts at various levels are detailed below:

• Rs 1,250 rupees/- at the secondary level.

• Rs 2,000/- at the postgraduate and postgraduate level.

• For Ph.D., the scholarship is awarded in accordance with UGC regulations.
