Prime Minister Modi addresses Shikshak Parv on Tuesday to launch initiatives in the education sector

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the opening secret session of “Shikshak Parv” on September 7 via video conference. PM Modi will speak with teachers, students, and other stakeholders via video conference at 10:30 AM. During the event, PM Modi will also launch several key initiatives in the education sector.

During the event the Federal Minister of Education and the Ministers of State of Education of the Union will also be present, reported PTI.

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is celebrating Shikshak Parv, 2021 from September 5 to 17 in recognition of the valuable contributions of teachers and to take a step forward to the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The theme of “Shikshak Parv-2021” is “Sustainable and Quality Schools: Learning from Schools in India”.

PM Modi launches the Indian Sign Language Dictionary:

In addition, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said, Modi will launch the Hindi Sign Language Dictionary (audio and video in sign language for the hearing impaired, in accordance with the Universal Design for the learning) and Talking Books (audiobooks for the visually impaired). . ), CBSE’s School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework, NISHTHHA Teacher Training Program for NIPUN Bharat, and Vidyanjali Portal (to facilitate education of volunteers / donors / contributors to CSR for school development).

The PMO said its celebration will foster innovative practices not only to ensure continuity of education at all levels, but also to improve quality, inclusive practices and sustainability in schools across the country.
