New Delhi: Registration ends today for the Graduate Engineering Aptitude Test (GATE) 2022. Candidates who have not applied during the regular registration period, until 30th September, can apply for the examination at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. This is the extended registration period and applicants will be required to pay a late fee.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will conduct Kharagpur GATE 2022 in February at test centers across the country. The test will not be conducted in foreign countries, due to the current situation of COVID-19.
“Due to the pandemic situation, all international centers for GATE-2022 have been canceled. However, foreign nationals can register and take the exam in any city listed in the 2022 portal.”
The application fee, including the late fee, is Rs 2,000 for candidates in the open category. For female candidates, SC, ST and PwD, the fee is 1,250 rupees.
IIT Kharagpur will display faulty applications on October 26 and allow candidates to correct them until November 1. Another window for changing the category, role and test city will be available until 12 November for an additional fee.
The GATE 2022 Admission Card will be released on January 3rd.
