What is the RAS exam?
The Rajasthan Administrative Services Examination (RAS) is a state level civil services examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Utilities Commission (RPSC). The test is also known as Rajasthan State Common Competitive Examination and Secondary Services. RAS is the highest government service and also the most desirable job in the state.
The RPSC RAS Basic Exam will be held from February 25-26 across the state. Previously, RPSC released the RAS 2021 Core Exam Syllabus and the new exam pattern that explains the topics and document structure. RPSC has also released the final answer key. The RPSC RAS 2021 Result was release on 19 November. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has published the RAS Prelims 2021 Result online on the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov. employment. Candidates can check the result by searching their list number in pdf results. Besides the score, the commission has also published the caps for each category for all categories.
Previously, RPSC published the RAS 2021 Question Document online for candidates. Candidates can download the pdf of the RPSC Questions Document here as well. The RAS Prelims 2021 test took place on October 27 in offline mode across the state. RPSC RAS 2021 Notice was published on 20th July for 988 Vacancies. The number of vacancies for the RAS is 76.

RPSC RAS Basic Exam Pattern
The RPSC RAS main exam consists of a total of four papers of 200 points each. Candidates are required to appear for all four positions. Each article contains descriptive/analytical questions (short, medium and long answer questions and descriptive questions). Candidates must complete each job within a three-hour period.

RPSC RAS Exam Pattern: Important Points
Some of the points regarding RPSC RAS Exam pattern are:
- All papers (introductory and main) can be answered in English or Hindi. However, candidates cannot partially answer a paper in Hindi and English, unless specified.
- If the candidate’s handwriting is not clear to the examinee, a deduction is made from the candidate’s total score.
- According to the official examination notice, “Credit will be given for orderly, efficient and accurate expression along with sound economy of words in all test subjects.”
