
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed teachers and students during the inauguration of ‘Shikshak Parv’ meeting today via video conference. On this occasion, he launched several important initiatives in the education sector. The Ministry of Education (MoE) is celebrating Shikshak Parv, 2021 from September 5 to 17 in recognition of the valuable contributions of teachers and for taking one step ahead in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Modi launched five initiatives on the occasion, including the 10,000-word Hindi Sign Language Dictionary, The Talking Books (Audiobooks for the Visually Impaired), the CBSE School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF), the NISHTHA Teacher Training for NIPUN Bharat and Vidyanjali. Portal to facilitate teaching to volunteers, donors and CSR contributors for the development of the school.
