WBBSE 2022: Details On Board Exam, Date, Pattern And Result


WBBSE Full Form

Madhyamik West Bengal Exam is a state level examination for 10th class students. It is organized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) through the schools. The application process for West Bengal Madhyamik Exam is carried out through the schools. The WBBSE sets the syllabus, exam pattern, and exam dates for all students. They must review it thoroughly and practice solving previous years’ questionnaires to pass the exams. West Bengal Class 10 exams are conducted for the subjects of English Language, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences (a combination of Physics and Chemistry), History, Geography, Mathematics, First and Second Languages.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has published the WB Madhyamik routine 2021-22 on the official website. Exams are scheduled to begin on March 7 and run until March 16, 2022. Students should note that they will need to bring their 10th WB admission card each exam day. The admission card will be published by the board in February 2022.

Steps to download WBBSE Madhyamik 2022 routine

Students are to follow the given steps to download the Madhyamik 2022 West Bengal exam routine:

  • Visit the official website of WBBSE at wbbse.org
  • Click on “Exam Schedule 2022”, top of the menu.
  • Now, a page with a link to “Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E., 2022-Program)” appears on the screen.
  • Click on the Madhyamik West Bengal Exam Routine pdf for the exam dates
  • Download the 2022 West Bengal Madhyamik routine and print it for future use

WBBSE Exam Pattern

  • As per the 2021 West Bengal madhyamik pariksha routine, students will have an extra 15 minutes to read the quizzes and students can start writing at 12 noon.
  • Shorthand and Typography Test will be conducted in Kolkata and Siliguri only. West Bengal Madhyamik Exam dates will be announced at a later time.
  • The duration of the sewing and embroidery exam is 4 hours and 15 minutes.
  • The duration of the Vocal Music Theory and Instruments exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes. The location and date of the practical exam in these subjects will be announced later.
  • The duration of the computer applications theory exam is two hours and 45 minutes. Practical exams will be held in individual schools.
  • As per the West Bengal Madhyamik 2022 routine, the duration of the professional subjects (under the NSQF project) is 1 hour 45 minutes. Practices in these topics will be implemented by the Sector Skills Council or by individual schools.

WBBSE 10th Exam Pattern 2022

The 10th WB exams are held over 3 hours and 15 minutes. The first 15 minutes is the students’ reading time. According to the WB Class 10 test pattern, a student must score at least 34 percent to pass the exams.

WBBSE 10th class Admission/Admit Card 2022

The West Bengal Madhyamik Admission Card will be issued by the Board of Directors in February 2022. Students will need to collect their admission cards through their own schools.

WBBSE Result

The WBBSE is likely to announce the 10th result of WBBSE 2022 in April/May 2022 on the official website. Students will be able to check their WBBSE 2021-22 results using the list numbers and date of birth.

  • Visit the official results portal of West Bengal, such as wbresults.nic.in or click on the link mentioned above
  • A new results login page will open.
  • Enter a list, number and date of birth in the appropriate fields. DOB format should be mm/dd/yyyy
  • Send details
  • The result will open on the screen.
  • Students can check their scores. Take a hard copy or screenshot of the result and keep it in a safe place for further reference.
